Dr. Peggy Van Scotter
Independent Consultant
Dr. Van Scotter is an independent consultant on HIPAA compliance with over 40 years in dentistry as an experienced educator and clinician. She was responsible for compliance, risk management, and quality assurance at Marquette University School of Dentistry and is active in several professional organizations.

In addition to an interdisciplinary PhD in law, dentistry, and anthropology, Dr. Van Scotter has an MBA, two master's degrees in Dispute Resolution and Public Service, and holds certificates in Gerontology and Law Enforcement. She is an active member of the American Academy of Forensic Science and the International Association of Conflict Management.
